Don’t Let Termites Destroy Your Home!

Say Goodbye To Termites. When it comes to termites, “out of sight” doesn’t always mean “out of mind.” Signs of a termite infestation are difficult to spot, and many termites even tunnel hundreds of feet to reach a home or feeding site. That’s why getting Redknight Termite Control now is crucial to help protect your home-before termites attack.

A great majority of homes in mainland Australia are at risk from termite attack.

Annual termite inspections are essential for early detection of termite activity on your property to prevent the potential for large scale damage and expensive repairs. Inspections also assess the conditions that make a property more susceptible to timber pests and ways to minimise the risk of attack. A great majority of homes in mainland Australia are at risk from termite attack.

CSIRO Termite Surveys find that 1 in 3 homes in Australia will be affected by termites at some stage which is more prevalent and costly than damage caused by fire, storm and flood combined. Did you know termites can devalue a home by more than 25%?

CSIRO also recommends a competent pest inspection (AS 3660.2-2000) at least on an annual basis and in some cases more frequent depending on your risk of termites.

The Australian Standard for Termite Protection (AS3660.2-2000) recommends that regular competent inspections be carried out at least once every twelve months and every three to six months for high risk areas or previously damaged dwellings.
